The images were created by taking long-time exposures of several fibre glass lamps moving around in a darkened room. Afterwards, severeal images were multiplied in photoshop to achieve the density of such a structure.

Brilliant.By using unwanted books discarded from public libraries, Spanish art collective Luzinterruptus creates intimate public spaces that encourage reading. Their most recent installation in Melbourne aimed to take control of the public space “in which the traffic withdrew, yielding ground to the modest power of the written word.” The dimly lit books began overflowing in the streets, stealing space amongst the dense traffic. On the closing night of the installation, the books were offered up to the visiting pedestrians, each allowed to choose their favorite books out of the thousands presented to them.
This is so cool.
